Beyblade: coloring pages and official resources
Beyblade is a major franchise combining action, strategy and competition around the well-known battle tops. Since its launch, the series has attracted several generations through its animated series, games and numerous top collections.
On this page, find a selection of official Beyblade resources: information on the setting and characters, activities for children, games and official printable coloring pages. A simple way to extend the Beyblade experience while consulting content offered by the franchise's official sites and partners.Beyblade since 1999
Beyblade was released by Takara in Japan in July 1999, under the name Bakuten Shoot Beyblade. The starting point is the beigoma, a traditional Japanese spinning top, modernized into a duel toy. From the outset, the idea was simple: you don't just watch it spin, you choose a setup, launch, and learn from each battle.
The manga began in 2000, the anime followed in 2001. In 2002, Hasbro marketed the line in many countries and the animation gained an international audience. Competitions, Blader teams and tops linked to emblematic creatures gave the game a storytelling dimension, without removing the very practical aspects of technique and strategy.
The license renews itself through major generations. Metal Fight added more metal and weight, Beyblade Burst introduced the drama of bursting, and each system changed parts, combinations and play styles. This capacity to restart with new mechanics explains why different generations of fans each have their favorite top.
Since 2023, Beyblade X has pushed speed with the X-Dash mechanism. The enjoyment remains very analog: an arena, a well-prepared launch, then the moment you follow your top's trajectory until the last turn.

Before launching a Beyblade...
Some habits and tips that make the first play sessions with Beyblade tops much more pleasant, drawn directly from the official pages.
Keep the parental guide handy before a first session. It reminds you of the rules, the importance of using the stadium designed for the line, and safety advice. A strongly launched top remains an object that requires clear space and attentive players.
When choosing a top, don't look only at the character or the color. The lines indicate whether a model is oriented toward attack, defense, stamina or balance. After a few matches, note what actually happens: leaving the stadium, head-on collisions, rotation that lasts. That's far more useful than saying a top is simply "strong".
Finally, the Takara Tomy timeline prevents mixing generations. It clearly shows the systems from 1999, Metal Fight, Burst and Beyblade X, with the mechanisms that distinguish them.
