Hanukkah: Festival of Lights (Judaism Coloring Page)
Hanukkah: Festival of Lights
Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights, is an eight-day Jewish celebration that begins on the 25th of the month of Kislev in the Hebrew calendar, which usually falls in December. It's a time when families gather to light the menorah, a nine-branched candlestick, and remember an ancient miracle. This festive moment is also an opportunity to sing songs, exchange gifts and enjoy traditional dishes such as latkes.
The word 'Hanukkah' means 'dedication' in Hebrew.
