日本語Kirby: Official Coloring Pages and Resources
Kirby is one of Nintendo's best-known characters. Easy to recognize by his round shape and pink color, he has appeared in many games since the early 1990s.
This page gathers official Nintendo resources about Kirby, including printable coloring pages and activities, along with a selection of Just Color coloring pages in a cheerful, fantastical setting.
Kirby, since 1992
Kirby first appeared in 1992 in Kirby's Dream Land on the Game Boy. The game was developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo. The character was created by Masahiro Sakurai, who deliberately designed a very simple, immediately recognizable silhouette.
Kirby has a trademark ability: he can inhale enemies and, in many games, copy their powers. Sword, fire, ice, hammer or parasol abilities let him change powers regularly throughout his adventures.
Over the years, Kirby has appeared on most Nintendo consoles, in platformers but also in racing, puzzle and fighting games. He is also a playable character in the Super Smash Bros. series. The world around him has grown with many characters such as Meta Knight, King Dedede and Bandana Waddle Dee.
In 2022, Kirby and the Forgotten Land marked a major step for the series with a fully 3D adventure. Despite these changes, the games keep the colorful, accessible and imaginative tone that has defined Kirby since the beginning.

A simple, colorful and instantly recognizable world
Kirby's world relies on simple shapes, bright colors and characters that are easy to identify. This is one reason the series appeals to young players while remaining popular with long-time fans.
Kirby's various powers also contribute strongly to this visual identity. Depending on the ability used, his appearance changes with new accessories, colors or costumes. Nintendo regularly applies this idea in the activities offered on Play Nintendo.
Kirby games also frequently use themes of nature, stars, fantastical worlds and colorful creatures. These are themes that are easy to find in other types of coloring pages, even without using licensed characters.
Other coloring ideas
These Just Color coloring pages are not related to Kirby. They simply offer themes close to his visual world: cute characters, fantastical creatures and imaginary landscapes.
