Azulejos are traditional ceramic tiles, found in various places, such as Andalusia (Spain) and especially in Portugal. The word "azulejo" comes from the Arabic "al-zuleij", meaning "small polished stone". These magnificent tiles are renowned for their intricate and geometric patterns, sometimes their figurative or religious representations, and their vibrant colors. They are found both inside buildings (churches, monasteries, homes, etc.) and as exterior facade cladding.
