Meditation coloring at Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto

This coloring page is inspired by a photograph taken in Kyoto, Japan, at the Shinto shrine Fushimi Inari-taisha, famous for its thousands of torii gates. The scene evokes a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere, featuring a wooden hanging sign at the heart of a traditional Japanese setting composed of cherry blossoms, bamboo, a pond, rocks, a small bridge, a stone lantern, and architectural elements typical of Japanese temples.

The sign contains the following text in English:

“I release my ego.

I make room for enlightenment.

In my gratitude for this life,

I find beauty in all things,

even in darkness. I share my

love with those ready to receive

it & expect nothing in return.

I trust my intuition. I am one with my

higher self.”

This text expresses a journey of letting go, gratitude, and selfless love, leading toward deeper inner peace.
