The Opéra Garnier, also known as the Palais Garnier, is a masterpiece of 19th-century architecture inaugurated in 1875. Designed by architect Charles Garnier under Napoleon III, it embodies the eclectic style of Baroque, Classicism and Renaissance influences.

Famous for its monumental grand staircase, richly decorated foyer and the auditorium ceiling painted by Marc Chagall in 1964, it was for decades the heart of the Paris Opera and today remains one of the capital's most emblematic cultural monuments.

Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Montmartre. The Basilique du Sacré-Cœur of Montmartre, located at the top of the Montmartre hill in Paris, was built between 1875 and 1914. Recognizable by its white stonework and monumental dome, it offers one of the finest panoramic views of the capital. An emblematic religious and tourist site, it attracts millions of visitors every year to admire its Romanesque-Byzantine architecture and the unique atmosphere of the Montmartre district.

Haussmann architecture. Two buildings typical of Haussmann architecture occupy the corner of the street, with their ashlar facades, spindly balconies and rich ornamentation. This architectural style originated in the 19th century, when Baron Haussmann was commissioned by Napoleon III to transform Paris during the Second Empire. The aim was to modernize the city, aerate older districts and unify urban aesthetics, giving rise to the emblematic image of the elegant, harmonious Paris we know today.
