Paul Cézanne - Gardanne (MET New York) - vector version

Coloring inspired by Paul Cézanne's painting Gardanne, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.

This is one of three views of Gardanne, a hilltop town near Aix-en-Provence, where Cézanne worked from summer 1885 to spring 1886. The steeple of the local church dominates a group of red-roofed buildings that enliven the sloping terrain. Faceted and geometric, the structures herald the cubism of the early 20th century.
