The Cat with the Goldfish (Le Chat aux poissons rouges) is a painting by Fauvist Henri Matisse, exhibited in Moscow's Pushkin Museum.

It shows a yellow cat trying to catch goldfish in a bowl. Matisse's use of bright, contrasting colors perfectly illustrates the spirit of Fauvism and its modernization of the still life.

We've made a few changes to the drawing, so it doesn't correspond 100% to the original.
